The epicure line are the same quality as the forged/made in Germany classic line with a much nicer handle and wider (deeper) Japanese style blade. They are discontinued and heavily discounted. I picked up the 6″ but the 8″ Chef’s Knife is the best deal. Search epicure to see all the deals.
