EVA Airways via Expedia have round trip airfares travelling from Dallas (DFW) to Cebu Philippines (CEB) for $880, making 1 stop in Taipei Taiwan. There are a couple of flights to choose from so pick a longer one to get out to the city and wander. These are EVA’s basic economy that includes a personal item, carry-on bag, 2 free checked bag and you may cancel for a refund (minus any fees).
