TracFone has the iPhone 12 64 GB for free when you purchase a 3 Mo $40 plan – which is actually $108 after multi-month discount. However, it seems any plan more expensive than that one works to get the iPhone for free. So I think most would opt for the 365 day plan that includes unlimited talk and text, and 12GB of data (For the YEAR, not every month!) For $144.

TracFone devices now require 365 days of paid active service to unlock. This is why buying the 365 day plan makes more sense.
