Kala is a reputable American ukulele brand. These ukuleles are imported from China and this is one Kala’s cheapest ukuleles. Quality is fine for beginner or casual players. Laminate construction is not the greatest sounding, but it is more resistant to heat and humidity and wear and tear than top-quality ukuleles.
